It may be hard to get out of bed for the new 8 am yoga class start time but you will appreciate the cooler temperatures and the
gorgeous, peaceful, early morning atmosphere. I hope you can make it out of bed to attend our first 8 am yoga class.
Sending love and encouragement.
This is to let you know that starting on May 8th 2023 we will be moving into the Summer time schedule of 8am start time and t 9:30 am end time. Im giving everyone a week into May to get comfortable with the start time change. The weather has been very warm so I feel the need to make this change to an earlier start time so we can have cooler temperatures for our yoga practice. I hope to see everyone coming out to the beach to enjoy the sand sun and sea and our beautiful yoga practice.
We are enjoying a return of warm weather and there is no better way to celebrate than to come down to Siesta Key beach and join my yoga class. Next class is Wednesday Feb 1 2023, 9 am start time. Bring a towel or a mat and some drinking water. Classes are meant for all levels of experience, beginners welcome. Please bring the fee of $10 per person in cash as I do not take credit cards. The classes are held on the beach between the blue and green lifeguard stands and there is even a handy video guide available on this website on the front page right side bar, if you should need more help finding the location. This yoga is a form of therapeutic, deep healing yoga, blending stillness within the pose with movements between poses to prepare the muscles and joints for the poses. Classes are 90 min long but if you need to leave before the class is over I don’t mind at all though I recommend you try to do the whole class as it is a systematic exploration and release of tension from all of the bodies muscles & joints. Hope to see everyone soon.
Im sorry for the late post as I just returned from the beach were I was checking the weather conditions and waiting till 9:00 am when the class normally starts. After assessing the conditions which I found difficult to teach I decided to cancel the class but no one that I could see came to class anyway. The winds were cold and damp as well as the sand was wet and cold. There were a few sray rain clouds on the edges of the sky but the sun seemed to want to come out. None the less with the combination of conditions and that none seemed to want to venture out today I cancelled the class. I hope to teach again on Monday the 30th. Hope to see you on Monday.
Rain is predicted for the entire morning of the 13th and It may be too cold to teach on Saturday. But I am cancelling Fridays class and keeping it open for Saturday. I will let you know about Saturday as we get closer to it. Thank you for your cooperation.
Looks like all is clear for class tomorrow Friday. Classes starts at9:am and ends at 10:30 am $ 10 per person and please bring exact change, some drinking water and a towel or a make and prepare to have fun and get fit in the most beautiful yoga studio in the world built by God.
There was an unusual cold snap last Monday with high wind conditions but this morning was just beautiful. Clean crip air felt good as the air warmed up during our yoga practice and by mid way through the 90 min class it was warm and sunny. I’m so glad the normal Fall temperatures are back as this is my favorite time of the year to teach my yoga classes. I hope you can come to Siesta Key beach and experience yoga on sand make of crystals next to a blue sea and sky. Hope to see you soon. Please bring drinking water and a towel or a mat and exact change for the fee.
All my love
A blast of cold air swept over Sarasota today bringing a reminder that winter is coming. The cold kept most people ar home in front of the fireplace. 3 brave women showed up for class so we had a very active and vigorous session. The cool air was invigorating as we did some power yoga. it looks like this cold air will be leaving soon and by Friday we should be back to more seasonal temperature. Hope to see everyone on Friday.
