1/31/22 Incredibly beautiful class today. Perfect

Standard

It was very cold when I arrived on the beach and I thought very few would show up to class if any but I was happy to see 8 people show up. The skies were clear and there was no wind so the air warmed upi quickly and then I lost track of time. The warmth of the sun felt so good that when I finally looked at my watch we had gone 30 mins over time. We ended up doing a 2 hour class the 5 ladies that stayed with me also did not feel time passing. It is the best possible feeling when you are in the zone and nothing can rouse you out of it. Normally my classes are 90 min. long. But occasionally it feels so good as all the conditions ate so perfect i becomes very hard to end. Classes held Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday. ( to 10:30 am. Please bring drinking watcer and exact change of $10 per person.

See you all on Wednesday when it will be warmer.

1/29/22 Sat. Class Cancelled Due To high Winds

Standard

In retrospect this month has been mostly good weather for our yoga classes. I have had to cancel a handful of classes due to bad weather but for the most part the days have been beautiful. Unfortunately I have to cancel class today because of a combination of high winds and cold temperatures. Hopefully Monday will be better. Hoping February will bring us good weather for our classes.

1/22/22 Sat. Class Cancelation Due To Rain

Standard

A very gloomy morning with light to moderate rain and chilly conditions made it impossible to hold our yoga class today. I saw one person working out in the area where I usually set up the class but she was the only one who seemed to be eager to have class. I usually wait till 9 am, the usual class start time, to asses the weather conditions and if it seems that rain is inevitable I cancel. I hope that Monday the 24th will be better. We have had quite a good run with the weather this year so Im hopeful this cold spell will be over soon.

Love and hug see you all soon.

Wednesday 1/19/22 Class Report

Standard

It is the middle of winter and even in Florida it gets cold in the winter. This morning we experienced a very chilly class but the sun came out and as we practiced it got quite warm. I would recommend layering your cloths when you attend the class. I had socks and gloves on and 3 layers of tops & jackets, I over did it a bit but its easy to remove layers as you warm up. Bring a towel or a mat and some drinking water. Get ready for a more vigorous sequence of postures and movements. The weather is very energizing and invigorating so come down and don’t miss your chance to experience yoga in the beauty of nature. All levels accepted, please bring exact change of $10 per person. I hope to see you soon.

Mid January 2022 Yoga Class Report

Standard

The success of my outdoor yoga classes hinge on the weather conditions this time of year especially. We have been very fortunate this year as the weather has been quite good so far. Classes are taught on Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, with a 9 am start time, 9:00 am can be rather chilly so I recommend layering your cloths to stay warm but within 30 mins into the class most will be too warm and comfortable. I love this time of year as I can teach more active posture sequences. I have been teaching yoga classes on Siesta Key beach for 14 years now and I always like to vary the posture sequences to suit the conditions and to keep things interesting for the regulars. The temperatures now give me a chance to bring in more energetic sequencing giving us feelings of more vigor, strength and vitality. I hope that you take advantage of the incredible winter weather we are having by participating in my yoga classes as often as you can. Please bring a towel or a mat and some drinking water and the exact change for the fee which is $10.00 per person. Classes last 90 min. but you are not obligated to stay the whole class and beginners are welcome. Hope to meet you soon.

Love and Joy
